Getting your child from Overwhelmed to Confident
At The Tutor Co., our mission is to empower students for success in NCEA through early preparation and targeted support. We believe that starting in Years 7 & 8 is the best way to set a strong foundation for future learning.
We have identified Four critical phases:

Years 7 and 8: Where we focus on identifying and bridging foundational knowledge gaps from previous years, ensuring that students have a solid foundation for Year 9.

Year 9: We provide support for the Year 9 curriculum while also preparing students for the NCEA co-requisite exams, which we strive to help students pass in year 10.
Year 10: We continue to support students in their preparation for NCEA co-requisite exams until they have achieved, by focusing on bridging gaps. We then look forward to what is needed for a strong foundation in Level 1 and start working towards strengthening their skills knowledge & confidence.

Years 11-13: We tutor and coach students through their NCEA years, supporting them with building the knowledge, skills, and confidence needed to achieve internal assessments and external exams.
We are goal-driven and create Individualized Education Plans (IEPs) tailored to each student's unique needs and aspirations. This structured approach helps us guide students effectively from where they are now, to where they need to be.
We recognise the added cognitive load that online assessments introduce, requiring students to not only understand the material but also effectively input their answers digitally. Our online tuition is the best way to meet these challenges and helping students build both confidence and competence as they progress through their education.
